Could you give us few details of the project?
We designed the living, master bedroom and kid’s room with a unique touch in this project. At the entrance, we have given a wooden ledge with panelling in white. Below this ledge, there is a wooden frame in which we placed pebbles inside. Towards the left, you will find the television unit covered with wallpaper. For storage purpose, we have provided a hanging drawer and ledge for shelves. There are spotlights given below these shelves to highlight them.
How did you add a decorative touch to the living area?
To add a shimmering touch to the living area, we used wallpaper in light brown shade with suede finish. This adds a touch to glimmer to the space behind the seating area. Another facet that grabs the limelight here is the false ceiling with amoeba design. Chandelier hanging above the seating area creates a level of interest and increases the visual appeal of the space. The living and dining area is separated aesthetically with a full height partition in white hue. A small temple behind this partition ensures effective utilization of space. This small temple has a backlit design element with curtain and low height storage on the floor.
Could you tell us about the features used in the master bedroom?
We used a combination of orange and brown colour scheme in the master bedroom. As you enter this space, you will see the television unit along with study table. Low height bed minus storage has a headboard in leather finish. The master bedroom has been decked up with full height wardrobe that has features like sliding door, laminate finish and brown glass. The dressing unit has been placed next to the wardrobe for functional reasons. Beige and orange full height wallpaper highlights the bed back wall with its satin finish.
How was your experience working on this project?
All the rooms in this project adorn a unique look and feel. We have given a ledge near the window in the guest bedroom. Study and seating area has been attached. The television unit has been decked up with panel and drawers. Overhead panel has been given spotlights. Combination of brown and white with dressing and back storage has been attached behind. We completed the living room in one and a half months except the living room that took time to be executed.
